GATOR LAKE - Locate next to the Hurlburt Field golf course on the east side of the runway.
Daylight use only, open from one hour before sunrise until one hour after sunrise.
You must have:
- Florida fishing license
- Eglin Reservation permit (Obtained from Jackson Guard in Niceville)
Trolling motors only
18 and younger fishermen must have an adult with them.
No fishing from the golf course.

Gator Lake has one natural (sand & gravel) boat
ramp suitable for small boats. (Up to bass boat size)
Parking available for about 15 vehicles with trailers.

To get to the boat ramp, you will turn left (west) off
Freedom Way just prior to the golf course toward
the fire pit where the fire department practices.
Turn right at the burn pit and go down the western
side of it. You will see a small gravel road and the
parking area at the end of it.
